From September to late December I had the privilege to live, work, and play at the Elsewhere Museum in Greensboro, North Carolina. For my project I completed an interactive mural, the first of the series, to bring an alive quality to a 2D piece. I believe we all have the power to sustain inner joy within ourselves, but how we go about this differs. I'm curious how folks create joy within themselves, and pieced together this mural. I used old silk-screened wallpaper from museum collections, black walnut ink I made with a friend, pokeberry ink, and organic material from the Greensboro area.
